This has been another year of achievements and blessings for ABWM of Versailles Baptist Church.

We did not meet in January. In February we cut and rolled 13.4 pounds of roller bandages and sent McDonald gift cards to our college students.

In March we sent $100 to the America for Christ offering.

In April we spent $200 for white Cross quota’s and sent 15 cards to homebound or ill friends.

We celebrated May with a Mother/Daughter banquet open to the entire family.

We also hosted the Girls of Joy for a two day outing. In June we collected food, paper products for Edna Martin Center, along with gift cards. Cheryl and Shirley worked the summer conference Bazaar for Edna Martin Center.

We gave $100 to the One Great Hour of Sharing. July was Vacation Bible School. It was held jointly for one day with Tyson Methodist. 2018 is our year to host the 1 day event.

In August we ordered new cutlery for the country store and helped with two baby showers.

We did not meet in the month of September. October was the Chili supper and Country Store. We made $1,226.04 which was used to finance local, state and national needs. We donated $100 to the World Mission Offering. We gave a $10.00 gift certificate to our State Scholarship Student. Cheryl and Shirley also served on the State team to introduce those who do not attend Women’s Day in Columbus to all the new officers and goals for 2018. Four from Versailles attended the Association meeting in Aurora.

In November we elected Cheryl Welch Vice President and Nancy Durham Coordinator of Missions and Service, Shirley will remain President, Sue Sutherlin will remain Secretary and White Cross Chairman. Lynn Baugh will remain Treasurer, and Geneva Kennedy will remain as Coordinator of Personal Development.

In November we also gave $100 to Cheryl & Sue for the breakfast ‘s that is served on Sunday mornings. On December 5th at 9:00 a.m. a church wide brunch was held.

In December we gave $100 to Retired Missions and Missionaries. Each month Versailles ABWM gives a love gift to Dwight and Barb Bolick.
